The challenge
A Fortune Global 500 company needed visibility into the timeliness and completeness of product deliveries across a global supply chain — tracking OTIF, sustainability, S&OE and logistics performance in one place. At the same time, growing data volumes were straining the existing Power BI and Snowflake models, driving up cost and slowing reports down.
What we did
Contributed to a balanced scorecard in Power BI with KPI customization, giving stakeholders one view across OTIF, sustainability, S&OE and logistics.
Built an OTIF dashboard showing target and KPI evolution, a Loss Tree, and the key drivers behind global and local OTIF performance.
Developed a 3PL performance reporting pack, covering shipping and delivery timeliness, inventory accuracy, and root cause analysis across all key 3PL/4PL partners.
Led a refactor of the Power BI and Snowflake models, redesigning around dimensional modelling principles, introducing surrogate keys, and cleaning up DAX measures and relationships.
Validated the results with Tabular Editor, DAX Studio and Fabric monitoring, confirming the performance and cost gains before rollout.
